The estate agent sector is famed for paying low basic wages and paying commission on new listings and completions to staff members. We don’t believe this will get the best out of our team or is in the interest of our clients. Our pay and benefits packages are some of the best you will find.
Give back to our community
From every house sale we donate money to charity. In the two years since lockdown we have donated over £20,000 to charity and this figure grows daily. But that’s not all. We sponsor local events, we donate prizes, we support local businesses with shop local initiatives and by local suppliers. We collaborate with other independent businesses locally and gift Harrisons hampers to all of our clients that contain local teats including our Harrisons beer!
We encourage our team to come up with ideas for giving back to the community we serve, everyone is very proud of this.
Leaders in innovation and excellence
Harrisons is well know within the industry of being early adopters of innovation and change. Chris is part of the UK government’s Agents Advisory Board where he is able to recommend changes to the way we buy and sell houses in the UK. We regularly call for change within the industry, to make it fairer and more transparent.
Our efforts are noticed. Over the past year we have been lucky enough to receive nine industry awards including the Estas who awarded us as one of their Gold Winners and The Best Agent in Kent based on our outstanding customer feedback.
